Sorry for not being as active, haven’t been feeling like using tumblr for a bit
“Hello, my name is Andrea and I am currently in the process of divorcing my abusive husband. I have two children and we live in a rental home that costs us $350 per month, which is equivalent to my monthly income. The only supplemental income we receive is from the orphan’s pension that my daughter has been receiving since my first husband, her father, died. This is $100 per month and that is all myself and my two children have to live off of.
Living off of $100 per month means that we are unable to afford anything beyond basic living needs such as food and I cannot remember the last time I was able to buy new clothes for my children. My daughter is due to go to university next year, but the the money I’ve saved for her entire life we have had to spend legal fees and on the costs of moving away from my ex-husband.
I work all day from very early in the morning until very late in the afternoon and have had to rely on my daughter to take care of my seven year old son when she’s not at school, leaving her unable to get a job herself. I don’t want to rely on her to be a supplemental income for our family, but I don’t even know how I am going to replace the clothes that my son is quickly outgrowing. We are unable to save a single cent by the end of the month given that we only have $100 for the three of us to live off of, and desperately need to save enough money to be able to buy our own home. I have pawned all my possessions of any value and am running out of options to support my family.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I need to save enough money to qualify of a bank loan which would allow us to buy our own home and help replace the funds meant for my daughter’s education that we have had to use escaping my husband. We would be eternally grateful for any donations.
Thank you so much.”
If anyone of my followers can help this lovely women in anyway I know she would greatly appreciate the gesture. It really saddens me when I see stories like this because they happen all to frequently. I think I speak for all when I say that I hope that her situation gets better. I personally give her my best wishes
